Monument Café in Georgetown has a Farmers Market getting underway- The owner, Rusty Winkstern, is also working to expand the options for local food network for others. Beginning next month, he and his business partner Clark Lyda plan to open a market for fresh seasonal foods grown within a 250-mile radius. The Monument Market will be located at 1953 South Austin Avenue (the original cafe location for locals) and will be open to the public seven days a week.

Hutto Farmers' Market 2010 is the second full year of the Hutto Farmers Market, which occurs on the historic Co-op property on Highway 79 in the center of Hutto, and just minutes from the 130 toll road. The Season begins Saturday, April 24 and ends June 12, and operates from 9 to noon.  
 

The fee for the full season of eight weeks is just $25.

Pecan Creek- We specialized in fresh eggs----genuine free-range, free-roam, grass fed, and pastured. Call them by any name you wish. These eggs are from chickens who go wherever they want to all day long. Boy are the yolks yellow! At this time we sell only in Taylor as eggs are available. We do have laying hens for sale sometimes, but do not sell any chicken meat. In the market for goats. We sell Spanish/Boer crosses and are now introducing Kiko into our herd for parasite resistance.
